Entrapment on A27 near Drusillas
Three cars collided requiring two occupants to be cut free on the A27 at Drusillas on the 27th of July 2013. Both male casualties were taken by road the the nearest major trauma centre at Brighton. Crews from South East Coast Ambulance service worked with Dr Pearce from SIMCAS to provide medical care whilst they were cut free. The road was completely closed for several hours.
